This was a fantastic experience. Quite challenging to have a 3rd set of repertoire prepared. We already needed a 20-25 minute set for the other concerts, plus the 4 big pieces for the concert with the orchestra. The kids did an amazing job! We were all quite thrilled with their performance. A lovely audience showed up from the local jewish community. It was quite cool!
Part of the challenge was that the Spanish Synagogue had no piano, and a lot of our repertoire in Hebrew is with accompaniment. Thanks to Mariam, Sophie, Jordan, Catherine and Shivani, we created new handbell accompaniments for many of the songs. It turned out really well. Tony Bianchini provided outstanding accompaniment on his guitar for several of the songs as well.

Recordings of the concert can be listened to and downloaded here: http://drop.io/GunnChoirSpanishSynagoguePrague
And of course Don Anderson's awesome video clips.
